Read book blurb here

"A Springful of Winters" is a quietly extraordinary story that is just beautifully written. We meet Kit, who deals with his Aspberger's by writing elaborate contingency plans (the cover is an example of such a plan) to cover all possible outcomes and responses. But when Kit's dog Bessie rolls in fox poop and runs through a wedding reception in a hotel (bonus points for jumping up on the bridezilla), Kit's plans are absolutely no help, especially when he meets a man with gorgeous blue eyes who Kit thinks of as "Spring."

Add in two cutely embarrassing meetings with Stephan ("Spring") and slowly Kit and Stephan begin a relationship that is very low angst and all kinds of wonderful. We get Kit's POV throughout and experience his amazement as he learns how Stephen feels about him:
Stephan’s words play over and over in my head, I think he’s perfect. I think he’s perfect, until I end up saying them out loud like a chant.

How can he think that? But then, I’ve never been able to fathom the way others think, or what they mean when they say things like that about me.

I’m not perfect, but if Stephan wants to think that, who am I to argue?
At only 120 pages, "A Springful of Winters" feels whole and complete and holds your interest every step of the way. I adore Dawn Sister's characters (especially Yenta, Kit's landlord / employer / guardian angel) although I would love to have Stephan's POV. We get Kit's amazement over Stephan's love and patience and kindness, but for me I wanted Stephan's thought process to fully flesh out their lovely romance. 4.5 stars and a Recommended Read. I think you'll really enjoy this one!
