Like a Gentlemen is a short Regency romance featuring James Rowley, the younger brother of an Earl, and L. (Leonidas) Wells, an editor at the publisher where Rowley submits stories in order to supplement his meager allowance. Turns out Wells is quite taken with Rowley (after having seen his portrait) while Rowley believes Wells is guilty of stealing one of his stories. What follows is an act of revenge, a realization that an error has been made, and an attempt at an reconciliation and a HEA ending.

I enjoyed this Regency and for such a short story, it felt complete and well-rounded with good character development. I think the author did a good job of capturing the essence of a Regency romance, and I think you'll enjoy it if you are a fan of the genre. 4 stars.
