Read book blurb here

The nice thing about "The Trust Beyond the Bitterness" is the lack of manufactured angst and miscommunication. We get two young men who meet and fall in love and begin their lives together. We learn a bit about their background and get a good sense of the Czech Republic setting.

But on the flip side, the plot is very .... sedate, and lacking the spark of that undefined something that gives a book that "can't put in down" quality. I liked the plot, felt the two young MCs worked well together, thought the book had a nice flow and a had a deserved happy ending. But ... did I adore this book? No. BUT if you are looking for a nice short read that gives you two young students who find each other and realize that they fit together and their lives will be better being together, plus a setting that fits well into Dreamspinner Press' "World of Love" series, I'd definitely give "The Truth Beyond Bitterness" a read! 3.5 stars.
